Move. Choose your own path. It’s up to you to change the things that don’t work or slow you down in life. Your chance is now. We are not looking for your typical production-line graduate. We are looking for the rebels that are angry with the status quo. The challengers and the doers. If that is you, this is your chance.
Step 0: Throw out your resume and cover letter. They are not needed for this application.
Step 1: Watch the video above and follow the instructions below.
Step 2: Come up with a problem. Imagine you’ve got all the resources you need to fix that one thing. That daily frustration. Maybe it's the way packs of bacon never open like they say they will. Or you’re wondering why we are still printing receipts on bits of paper.
Step 3: Show us how you would solve that problem. Think big. Think small.
Step 4: You choose the format: film it, record it, build a website, draw it on a napkin and scan it. Whatever way that lets us know a bit about who you are and how you think.
Step 5: Send your application to email@example.com by March 31st, 2019 (the sooner the better, we’re reviewing applications continuously)
We’ll set you up in our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. We’ll take you to China. We’ll drop you into our Co:lab team, part of the Technology & Business Innovation department.
You will be working tightly with across all functions and departments at Lynk & Co with a variety of projects. You’ll be assigned a mentor, who guides and supports you in your work over the course of the year. As a graduate we expect you to inject ideas and ensure that innovation stays in the forefront of agendas throughout the organization.
When you’re not getting your hands dirty and molding the future of the automotive industry, you’ll be attending courses and generally enhancing your leadership skills, creativity, developing your business acumen and refining your technical ability.
Nonetheless, to succeed in this role you must be curious, open to new experiences, and willing to severely stretch the comfort zone!
This is not your standard graduate program; there will no pre-defined path for you during that year.
When you start we will only be a few months away from launching in Europe, so you will be working hands on in an exciting and upbeat start-up environment.
It’s a 1-year contract but if at the end everyone’s happy and slapping each other on the back then well, the end will be just the beginning.
Email your response to firstname.lastname@example.org latest by March 31st 2019, along with your name, phone number, current address and whether you might need assistance with your work permit if you are a non-EU applicant.
Maximum video length is 3 minutes if you’d like to submit a video.
The next round of selection will involve completing two online tests, upon which the successful candidates will be invited to a fun assessment day with us in May. Start of the program is September 2nd, 2019.
