Lynk & Co is teaming up with Amsterdam-based music collective Dekmantel to run an online creative space from December 14 – 23 for artists, music fans, and everyone else missing festival season in the Netherlands this year.
Dekmantel Connects aims to stimulate thought, generate conversation, and offer ideas for aspiring music professionals, all while making connections between different aspects of the (electronic) music community. The music community has been disproportionately hit by the pandemic, and Lynk & Co and Dekmantel hope to offer support. The program consists of five workshops, five panel conversations, and three in-depth conversations with veteran artists. Topics range from finding your way in music rights or grant applications to discussions about the future of the music industry and building a community.
Dekmantel Connects will feature some of the sharpest musical minds bringing you live performances, DJ sets, panels, workshops, radio sessions, film screenings, interviews, written and photo editorial, and more. In a year where Dekmantel couldn't bring people together for their renowned festivals just yet, they will bring the action to your home instead. The entire 10-day Dekmantel Connects programme is free for all to access.
