Accessibility statement

Last updated on 5 June 2025

Lynk & Co is dedicated to making the digital experience accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

This statement applies to content for our website www.lynkco.com, the Lynk & Co application on iOS and Android, and our in-car apps made by Lynk & Co. We are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA to ensure digital accessibility for people with disabilities.

    Compliance Status

As of today, Lynk & Co's website partially complies with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We are actively working to improve accessibility by integrating it into our design, development, and content management processes. Some of the actions we have taken so far include:

    • Outlining a strategy to fix accessibility issues on our digital platforms.
    • Conducted an audit of our website and app to identify areas for improvement.
    • Currently conducting an audit for our in-car apps developed by Lynk & Co.

    • Our goal is to achieve full compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA by the end of 2025, and we will make sustained efforts to reach this objective.

    Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of our Lynk & Co website and app, we are aware of some limitations that we are actively working to fix. We have listed our non-accessible content per platform below.

    Lynk & Co Website (www.lynkco.com)

Identified accessibility improvements in the Lynk & Co Website (www.lynkco.com). The target is to have these issues fixed by the end of 2025.

    • Enhancing our website to ensure all graphical elements include appropriate alternative text across all pages.
    • Working on improvements for keyboard navigation by ensuring a consistent and logical tab order, making it easier for users to navigate efficiently.
    • Improving the visibility and contrast of focus indicators for keyboard navigation users.
    • Optimizing the cookie banner to be fully accessible in landscape mode, ensuring all text is readable and buttons are fully displayed.
    • Implementing proper labeling for all social media icons with hyperlinks.
    • Exploring and implementing dedicated keyboard shortcuts to enhance website navigation.
    • Developing mechanisms to allow users to pause any moving, blinking, or scrolling information that starts automatically and lasts longer than 5 seconds.
    • Working to provide audio descriptions or alternative text (such as transcripts) for all videos on the website.
    • Refining our content to prevent empty lines created with multiple line breaks or empty paragraphs from being read as “blank” by assistive technology, thus improving readability.
    • Implementing specific and descriptive error messages for all input fields to guide users effectively.
    • Ensuring that all input fields include explicit labels on every page.
    • Adding the autocomplete attribute to input fields where appropriate, to streamline the form-filling process for users.
    • Enhancing the visual design so that interactive elements, such as hyperlinks, are distinguishable without requiring mouse hover or keyboard focus.
    • Improving PDFs with tags to meet the accessibility standards.

Lynk & Co Mobile App (iOS and Android)

Identified accessibility improvements in the Lynk & Co Mobile App (iOS and Android). The target is to have these issues fixed by the end of 2025.

    • Change labeling in Icons, input fields and other visual elements, so screen readers can read them with greater accuracy.
    • Include descriptive text in some images & graphical elements so they can be read by screen readers.
    • Tag images or graphical elements correctly so screen readers don’t read them unnecessarily.
    • Include more auditive feedback in interactions, so they are read out by assistive technologies.
    • Include additional visual distinction on hyperlinks besides color.
    • Ensure that all user interactions that rely on drag and drop mechanisms or touch screen native interactions are possible to perform with keyboard navigation or an active screen reader.
    • Check that screen readers use the correct language in all cases.
    • Include the option to use the app in horizontal orientation (iOS specific).
    • Increase text contrast so it is sufficiently visible against the background.
    • Allow text to zoom in on text according to iPhone settings (200% - 400%).
    • Include clear descriptions in text links.
    • Include correct naming and programming in error and status messages, so they are directly read by screen readers.

    Lynk & Co In-car apps

Identified accessibility improvements in the Lynk & Co In-car apps. The target is to have these issues fixed by the end of 2025, or in the nearest in-car app release after 2025.

    • Increase contrast level in texts and non-text elements.
    • Add clear descriptions throughout the apps.
    • Include additional visual distinction on hyperlinks besides just color.
    • Allow for video elements & GIFs to be paused or stopped.
    • Use other methods than pinch movements for zooming in on Car Guide images.
    • Make sure we have clear labels in all relevant places (for example search fields).
    • Provide additional ways to access the same content when searching in the Car Guide app.
    • Include additional headers and navigation flows in the Car Guide.
    • Improve dragging movements for certain interactions.
    • Increase touch spot target size.
    • Include additional error identification notifications and error suggestions.
    • Make sure that components with the same functionality are consistent.

The following Lynk & Co in-car apps have already been included in the accessibility audit: Car Guide, Car Sharing, Co:lab, Inbox, Pretty Near, Calendar, Meetings, and Let’s Chat.
